The new header is a slice of a piece of art done by John Mora, a favorite artist of mine, and I asked his permission to use it. Here is the complete piece.
Wow – well, what can I say, his work is stunning and you have managed to take an evocative slice which is a GREAT header.
His work is a good example of manipulation… and so is your header! LOL
With my usual lack of tact I may have put my foot in it.
Manipulation requires intelligence and skill and, as I say, I do it which is enough recommendation for anyone LOL
I do like your new header which has bright fresh colours which complements your title. It also has hints of complexity in the reworking which also reflects your blog.
How weird is this? I haven’t been blogging lately due to various family illnesses and pressures of work but have recently got back into it. I was going through my blogroll and deleting those which are no longer in existence or where people haven’t posted for ages. I came across yours and felt a twinge of sadness that you seemed to have abandoned your blog as I used to enjoy reading it. (Bear with me, there is a point to this ramble…!) I was having a look at the And – Who Cares? blog. Glancing through her comments there was one from Stinking Billy – a blog I had never read before. I don’t usually click through from comments but this time, for some reason, I did. And there at the top of Stinking Billy’s page was your picture. Quick click on it and there was a link to your new blog. So hello, Irene. I’m so glad I’ve found you again. But I am a little spooked at tge ’synchronicity’ of it all!
I never know what to expect when I come to your page…….. we’ve had fallen angels, naked women, little girls, windmills, autumnal scenes, to name a few.
This one is a bright clean one and is the work of a good artist, so how can you go wrong?
You must think mine is very boring by now as it never changes!

You’re allowed to put your foot in it any time, Bev, eventually you end up where you were headed.
I love the header and I love the term “A slice of art.” It sounds as appealing as cake!

I love that you keep changing your header! We get to share in the art you enjoy, that we might otherwise never have seen.
